Biography

Karyn MeyerA painter and art material researcher, who has been painting and working in the fine arts industry for over fifteen years. After completing her MFA in scenic art, and working nationally on the regional theatre circuit, she taught design and drawing at Piedmont Community College in North Carolina, keeping a hand in the decorative arts and her own drawings. Her work at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., in the conservation department with the Mellon Art Materials Collection gave her an unequalled exposure to one of the largest art material collections in existence. Karyn has worked in online publishing and video production for both American Artist and The Artist Magazine before becoming a social media developer and blogger and application specialist for some of the top art material manufacturers in the world, including Ampersand Art Supply, Golden Artist Colors and Dynasty Brush.

She has exhibited at The Governor’s Island Art Fair, NY, Six On The Square in Oxford, NY, Rochester Contemporary Art Center in Rochester, NY, and Round Top Gallery in Round Top, TX.
